THE DIRECTOR OF THE ARGENTINE SCHOOL OF COACHES WAS IN TOWN



On January 8, 2014 the Director of the Argentine School of Soccer Coaching (ATFA), Mr. Victorio Cocco, visiting the US to initiate exchange programs with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, made a special presentation to the local soccer coaches and trainers regarding FIFA’s mandate to improve the quality and level of coaching education.



The conference was held at the International Soccer Training Center/ Holiday INN/Kics International facility in Sunrise Florida. 
Mr. Cocco a very successful former pro-player with San Lorenzo de Almagro (Pope Francisco’s, team) Boca Jrs, River Plate and other teams in Buenos Aires and also a former Argentine National team player impressed the large audience with his profound knowledge and practical approach to teaching soccer fundamentals. He also discussed the details of the different educational programs that AFTA offers to train soccer coaches at the highest level of the game required by FIFA.
The evening was closed by a presentation by Mr. Juan Cruz Real, ATFA representative in North America on the several   AFTA on-line programs available for local coaches. The e-learning methodology used by ATFA allows coaches to complete the FIFA “A” level of education at their convenience, without the need to travel to attend classes. The ATFA e course can be taken either in Spanish or English.
